Book Signing at the Centre, Alabama K-Mart, with Author, Virginia Mckevitt Come join us February 9th for a Valentine’s Day special event and purchase an unusual gift for your Special someone. Centre, Alabama-On Saturday, February 9th from 9:00am until closing: The Centre K-Mart will be hosting a book signing for Virginia McKevitt, and the release of her second novel in the series, Fracture the Secret Enemy Saga. Mckevitt, who is a current resident of Walker County, Georgia, was once an employee of the Centre K-Mart and is pleased the event will be held in a place she once called home. “This is a heartwarming way to promote my fantasy novels. Being surrounded by the people I love. My extended family.” McKevitt is also a member of the Georgia Library, Goodreads, She Writes, World Literary Café, Author’s Den, and Stage 32, among others. She would love you to follow her on Facebook, twitter and Google , and at her blog: vmmckevitt.blogspot.com. McKevitt’s book first in the series, FRACTURE The Secret Enemy Saga, was released as an e-book and in paperback at Amazon.com and Barnes and Nobles, Smashword’s, and the Apple Bookstore, in early 2012. Book 2, The Hunted was released in the same formats in December of 2012, with two more in the series, to be released by the end of 2013. The e-books are available worldwide via Amazon.com and Smashwords on the Kindle and Nook, and most reading devices. Book one centers around Tegrin, an assassin from a world where magic exist. He is sent by his king to return an ancient clan of women who feed off the memories of others. His search runs him headlong into Kristina, a young woman who is destined to change both their lives forever. McKevitt says; “FRACTURE, is a fantasy that is set in two worlds, one similar in ways to medieval times, the other in present day small town America. Fracture not only represents the separation of two worlds but a deeper look into the lives of a man who kills for a living and a young woman who realizes her life has a different path, one that entangles them both in a destiny neither will be able to walk away from.” Book two follows Tegrin and Kristina, with her friends, Jimmy and Sissy, as they embark on a journey to New Orleans to hunt, Alexasia, the High Priestess of the Couton Clan, and her sisters. Her lust for human memories, combined with the dark magic of Voodoo, makes for a powerful enemy. One that the four companions are determined to destroy at all cost. Mckevitt says; “The Hunted, is far more complex than just a battle of good over evil, or one enemy over another. Each of these characters, good or bad, is in conflict with their own inner demons, as well as the external forces that cold destroy them all. I quote, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’ We shall see.” About Virginia McKevitt Virginia McKevitt was born in Long Beach, California but lived most of her life in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana. She grew up and married the boy next door, moved to Mississippi, started a landscaping business and raised horses. Hurricane Katrina changed her life. The business gone and family scattered, she moved to Alabama, then to the mountains of Georgia. Life urged her on, so when she found the first chapters of a manuscript she had started while still in New Orleans, she sat down at the computer and never looked back. Her vivid imagination and love for fantasy has finally culminated into a story she hopes will captivate anyone who loves a good journey. Fracture The Secret Enemy Saga, started so many years ago was the beginning of the road. The Hunted is the continuing journey. Who knows where the road will end.
