The woman apparently lost control of the minivan, which had a Georgia tag, as she was traveling south on U.S. 411 toward Centre.
Ty Prater, who lives near where the accident occurred, said he heard a loud boom and drove down the road to see if he could help. The woman asked him to please help her get out of the vehicle, he said.
Prater said he told the woman that help was on the way and deputy sheriffs and rescue workers arrived a few minutes later.
She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment
