MONTGOMERY – A new and improved Road Conditions Web page, featuring new search criteria and mapping data along with a new streamlined look, was made live recdently on the Alabama Department of Transportation’s Web site at www.dot.state.al.us (click on Road Conditions.)

The new ALDOT Road Conditions page is designed to provide more updated information to the public and ALDOT staff, in an easier to use format. The new page will provide current accident locations and new search criteria allowing users to view traffic conditions by route, metro area, county or ALDOT division.

New mapping data integrates seamlessly with the Traffic Information and Cameras site to provide real-time incident reporting in major metro areas of the state. Additionally, a RSS feed feature is available along with an easier to use mobile application.
