The victim was not a student, according to reports.
Investigators began a search of the facility in connection to a missing persons report filed Tuesday afternoon, reports said.
The Centre Police Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office and Gadsden State Cherokee campus security continue to work with a forensics team which arrived Wednesday, according to reports.
