COLLINSVILLE - The Class 1A, No. 5 Collinsville Panthers split a pair of home volleyball matches Thursday. The Lady Panthers fell to Area 13 rival Spring Garden in five games 25-22, 18-25, 25-23, 15-25 and 11-15.

Collinsville also defeated Crossville 17-25, 25-16, 16-14 to move its record to 19-7 on the season.

In the loss to Spring Garden, Christy Cox accumulated 31 kills, 10 digs and three blocks. Brittney Tidmore tallied 27 assists and four aces. Kiana Ford had seven kills and three aces. Bailey Click finished with five kills.

Against Crossville, Cox came away with 16 kills, seven blocks and seven digs. Click contributed five kills and three aces. Tidmore finished with 16 assists and three aces.

Collinsville plays at Geraldine on Oct. 2.
