The Lady Panthers defeated Gaylesville in a Class 1A, Area 13 battle 25-11, 25-2 and 25-12. Collinsville fell in the nightcap to Sardis 25-14, 25-27 and 15-12.
Against Gaylesville, Brittney Tidmore was 30 for 30 on serve with 18 points in a row. She also had 11 aces and 10 assists.
Kiana Ford added 10 kills and six digs. Christy Cox finished with seven kills and five digs.
In the loss to Sardis, Tidmore tallied 10 assists and had four aces. Cox came away with 11 kills. Hanna Hornbuckle finished with five digs.
Collinsville (4-1) travels to Sylvania for a tri-match with Ider on Thursday beginning at 4 p.m.
