The driver of the 2003 Yamaha, according to the police report, was identified as Gabriel Byrdsong of Centre. Merissa Mobbs, a passenger on the vehicle, was injured and transported by Cherokee EMS Ambulance Service to Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Byrdsong was not injured, reports said.
