Bre Green also had 12 points for the Lady Bulldogs (25-6). Brittany Holloway had eight points and Caitlyn Coogler finished with seven points.
Thompson was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Garner, Green, Holloway and Coogler were all-tournament selections.
Mikayla Owen led White Plains (17-14) with 11 points. Taylor Snellgrove and Amber Greenwood both netted eight points. All three players were selected to the all-tournament team.
Piedmont hosts the loser of Monday's Area 9 championship between Ashville and host Glencoe in sub-regional action on Thursday. White Plains will travel to the winner.
