Jamestown Boy Scout Troop 245 joined some 1,400 other volunteers cleaning up local waterways as part of the Renew Our Rivers Campaign 2007.

Alabama Power and the Weiss Lake Improvement Association were proud to report an excellent turnout this year, including groups from all local schools, Wal-Mart of Centre and others. Pictured is Troop 245 with some of the trash they collected on the lake side. They include Cody Morris, Tony Wade-assistant scoutmaster; James Wade, J. Brewer, John Cavin, David Moseley, Cody Bentley, Luke Murphy, Joshua Wade, Tyler Brown and Brian Penland
