Centre Rotary Club meets at noon on the second floor of First Southern State Bank on Main Street in Centre.

The Tiny Tykes Music Time is held at the Cherokee County Public Library from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The Recipe Club meets to swap recipes at Cherokee County Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Cedar Bluff Civitan Club meets the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse Restaurant, 2290 Alabama Highway 68 East in Cedar Bluff, Ala.

The Summer Dutch Treat Dinner sponsored by the Cherokee County Republican Party and Cherokee County Republican Women will be held Monday, Aug. 20, beginning at 6 p.m., in the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Community Room, 801 Cedar Bluff Road, Centre, Ala. Keynote speakers will be Senator Gerald Dial, District 13 and Senator Phil Williams, District 10. The event will also feature local candidates Kirk Day, Marcie Foster, Mark Green, Randy Jones, Mitchell Guice, Linda Archer and Shaunathan Bell.
