All retirees of the Cherokee County Education Retirees Association are invited to attend the monthly meeting at Lanny’s Restaurant (in the private dining room) Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. Guest speaker will be Representative Richard Lindsey, House District 39 for Cherokee, Cleburne and Dekalb Counties. Time permitting, Rep. Lindsey will take questions from the audience concerning retirement and educational decisions for the state of Alabama. After a short business meeting conducted by Millie Rowley, vice-president, everyone is invited to stay for a “Dutch-treat” lunch and socialize with other retirees.
