The Cherokee County Alzheimer’s Support Group’s annual Memory Walk will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation’s Education Activities Building behind CCHRC. The support group sells T-shirts like the ones they are wearing to raise money for Alzheimer’s research. Last year, the group raised $10,000 for Alzheimer’s research. T-shirts, which cost $10, are available at CCHRC or from members of the support group. Health Fair booths will be set up in the parking lot near the Activities Building. The event will also include a silent auction during the walk. Everyone is invited to come out and find a cure for Alzheimer’s and to support caregivers.
