CENTRE - The 3 Style Pizza End Zone Show, featuring Kurt Duryea and Nolen Sanford, will host their first “on site” broadcast this Thursday night. The show will air live on WEIS 990 AM and 100.5 FM.

The duo will kick off the broadcast at 6 p.m., inside the 3 Style Pizza Restaurant on the Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. The hour-long show features “Impact Players” from last Friday nights games as chosen by the head coaches. They’ll also honor the first “Team of the Week” as Spring Garden Panther head coach Jason Howard joins the show.

In the “Blast from the Past” segment, Hall of Famer Ronnie Shaw reminisces about the Sand Rock-Gaston homecoming game from 1972. Find out why Gaston players and fans are still upset about the 22-21 Wildcat victory.

After Ronnie exits the stage, Spring Garden grad, Piedmont public address announcer and all round sports guru Shane McElwee will join Nolen and Kurt. McElwee will help break down this week’s Alabama Sportswriters Association top 10 rankings and preview area games.

The show will finish with a flourish when Cherokee County Herald Sports Editor Shannon Fagan, The Post Managing Editor Scott Wright and Sanford make their SEC picks versus a local round table of former players and coaches.

The round table will start the season with 10 members. Each week the group votes off a member until the just one survivor remains. Tune in to find out who will be the first to get “fired.”

You’ll also catch up on which two of the three “media experts” were perfect on their picks and which one wasn’t.

View the show live and in progress at 3 Style Pizza in Centre. Or, if you can’t be there, just listen in real time on 990 AM, 100.5 FM or via the internet stream at www.weis990am.com
