Mr. Billy Walter Stallings, 76 of Weaver, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Stallings was a native of Cherokee County. He was retired from Cherokee County Highway Department and was a member of the Alabama National Guard for twenty eight years.

Private entombment will be at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite church or charity. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Mr. Stallings is survived by his wife Martha “Tootsie” Hawthorne Stallings; sons; Jeff Stallings, Weaver, Jay (Marcia) Stallings, Jacksonville, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stallings was the son of the late Walter and Lillie Bramlett Stallings.
