Survivors include his wife, Janice McCrummen Upshaw; son, David Wayne Upshaw, Jr of Port Lucie, Florida; daughters, Sharon Upshaw (Ben) Yinger of Bushnell, Florida and Stacey Upshaw of Piedmont; brothers, Bill Prather of Ft Meade, Florida, and Alford Upshaw of Center Hill, Florida; sisters, Cassie Brown and Joyce Drawdy both of Center Hill, Florida and Linda Adams of Holdenville, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Upshaw was the son of the late Willie A. and Myrtle Mae Tolar Upshaw.
