Mr. Eric Hays, 49 of Centre, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Hays was a native of Cherokee County and was a Baptist.

Funeral services will be 4 pm Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating. Burial will be held 3 pm Sunday at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 4 pm Saturday. Donations may be made to Celebrate Recovery or the family will accepted flowers. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include his daughter, Taylor Hays of Leesburg, AL; father, Joe Hays of Centre, AL; brother Scott (Lori) Hays of Centre, AL; nephews, Cody Hays, Caleb Hays, and Brantley Hays of Centre, AL; special cousin, Julie Neyman Waddell.

Mr. Hays was preceded in death by a son, Bron Hays and his mother Carole Hays.
