Mr. Judson Phillip Bell, 72 of Rising Fawn, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Bell was a native of Cherokee County. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a Baptist. He was a retired manager with the transportation industry.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 P.M. Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Cogdill Bell; son, Stacy Bell of Rising Fawn, daughter, Angela (Jeff) Hardin of Acworth, brothers, Gerald (Judy) Bell and Greg Bell of Milner, Georgia; sisters, Bernice Estes of Cedar Bluff, Charlene (David) Maddox and Pam (Billy Joe) Shelton of Centre, four grandchildren,and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bell was the son of the late “Bet” and Emmie Lois Tucker Bell.
