Mrs. Catherine Davis, 96 of the Tates Chapel Community passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was a native of Cherokee County, and was a member of Tates Chapel Baptist Church for seventy years.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating. Burial followed at Cherokee Memory Gardens. Mrs. Davis is survived by son, Phillip M. (Nelda) Davis, Centre, daughter in-law, Mildred H. Davis, seven grandchildren, and 19 great–grandchildren, five great–great grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Davis, son, James Allen Davis, two Brothers, and three sisters.

Mrs. Davis was the Daughter of the late A.L. and Cordellia Barrett Trammell.
