Mrs. Elaine Bertie Nell Stallings Blankenship, 78 of Cedartown, formerly of Rome,passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Cedar Hill Assisted Living. Mrs. Blankenship was a native of Cherokee County, and was a member of Noah Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Reed officiating. Burial followed in Noah Cemetery. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey L. (Kathy) Blankenship, Rome, Terry D.(Trina) Blankenship Navarre, Florida, David T. (Tammy) Blankenship, Cedartown, brother, Billy L. (Joyce) Stallings, Centre, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Blankenship was the daughter of the late Elwin Columbus and Mary Lou Hunter Stallings.
