Mrs. Paulette Janet Hopkins, 70 of Centre, passed away Friday morning, November 30, 2012 in a Rome hospital. Mrs. Hopkins was a native of Cherokee County. She was a retired school bus driver and was a Baptist.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Reed officiating. Burial followed in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include her husband, John Hopkins; brother, Larry Grimes of Centre; brother-in-law, Glen Brown of Huntsville; sister-in-law, Wanda (Elbert) St. Clair of Sand Rock.

Mrs. Hopkins was the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn Ferguson Grimes.
