Mrs. Vernell T. Johnson, 85, of Gadsden pasased away Friday, November 02, 2012. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Carnes Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son: Rodney Dale (Faye) Johnson of Ohio; daughters: Vickie (Larry) Moon, of Centre, Cindy (Danny) Smith, of Centre and Regenia (Tommy) Hardin, of Southside; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister: Hazel T. Valentine, of Gadsden, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her brothers: Cecil Terrell, Walt Terrell and Charles Terrell Jr., and her parents: Charles Terrell and Anna Bell Terrell.
