Mrs. Yoshiko Yara Dale, 78 of Lillian passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012. Mrs. Dale was the wife of Paul W. Dale, of Lillian. Mr. Dale was a former editor of the Cherokee Herald. Mrs. Dale was a native of Okinawa, Japan and a resident of Lillian. she was a member of Okinawa Ken Jin-Kai.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at mack Funeral Home Chapel in Robertsdale. Interment was held at Elberta Public Cemetery.

Mrs. Dale is survived by son, Paul L. Dale, Sr., Huntsville, daughter, Michi Y. Isbell, Hueytown, nine grandchildren, fpur great grandchildren, mother, Kamanda Yara of Okinawa, Japan, brothers, Toshio Yara, Chorr Yara, Mitsu yara all of Okinawa, Japan, sisters, Chiyo Tamayose, Okinawa, and Tomiko Yara, Mainland, Japan.
