Leesburg police arrest local man on burglary charges

The Leesburg Police Department, on Tuesday, Dec. 30, arrested a local man on burglary charges in connection with thefts from a local business.

Arrested, according to reports, was Niki Leigh Bone, 35, of Leesburg, who was charged with three counts of burglary in the third degree and theft of property in the first degree.

Bone, according to reports, allegedly broke into the R&D One Stop on three different occasions and took an undisclosed amount of money from the store.

Bone was transported to the Cherokee County Detention Centerm booked on the charges and awaits a bond hearing, reports said.

Officer Brian Gilliland and Chief Ransum investigated the case.
