The following closings have been announced for Thursday, Jan. 13, because of continued potentially treacherous conditions caused by the recent snow storm:

-CED Mental Health will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.

-Cherokee County Schools will be closed due to secondary road conditions.

-Gadsden State Community College will be closed.

-Gadsden City Schools will be closed.

-Etowah County Schools will be closed.

-Attalla City Schools will be closed.

-All campuses of Georgia Northwestern Technical College will be closed.

-Chattooga County Georgia Schools will be closed Thursday & Friday and will resume Tuesday.

-All DeKalb County governmental offices and courthouse will be closed due to the road conditions.

-All Fort Payne City offices will be closed and will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday.

-DeKalb County Schools will be closed.

-DeKalb County schools administrative offices will be closed.

-Fort Payne City schools will be closed.

-Cornerstone Academy will be closed.

-Cherokee County Head Start Centers will be closed.
