The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast will be held in the Chamber meeting room on the campus of Gadsden State Community College-Cherokee beginning at 8 a.m. Floyd Primary Care will present the program.

The Cherokee County Public Library Brown Bag Lunch Program will be held at noon. The featured speaker will be Betty McCoy. Ms. McCoy has finally completed her project of writing a book about ghosts in this area, “Haints, Haunts and Hullabaloos.” Copies of the book will be available for sale. The Cherokee County Public Library, 310 Mary St., Centre, Ala. holds an art class from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. for children ages 8-14 with Instructor Cloud Farrow. Children must provide their own 8 x 10 sketch pad and charcoal pencils. Call the library at 256-927-5838 for further information.

The Cherokee County Rose Garden Club meets at 5 p.m. in the Cedar Bluff Community Center on Old Highway 9 in Cedar Bluff. For more information, contact John Holbrook at 256-779-6202.
