Class 1A, No. 6 Cedar Bluff (29-17) earned the right to host the Class 1A, Area 10 tournament on Monday and won’t play until 6 p.m. The Lady Tigers will await the winner of the 5 p.m. match between Spring Garden (20-16) and Gaylesville.
Class 2A, No. 8 Sand Rock (25-16) travels to Walnut Grove for the Class 2A, Area 11 tournament on Monday hosted by West End. The Lady Wildcats take on Pleasant Valley in one semifinal at 5:30 p.m.
The other semifinal pits Westbrook Christian taking on West End at 4 p.m. The winners face each other for the area championship at 7 p.m.
Then on Tuesday, Class 4A, No. 8 Cherokee County (25-14) travels to No. 2 Jacksonville for the Area 10 tournament. The Lady Warriors take on third-ranked Alexandria at 7 p.m.
Top-seeded Jacksonville won’t play until 5:30 p.m. against the winner of the 4 p.m. Anniston-Cleburne County match.
Winners advance to the championship match scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m.
All area tournament winners and runners-up advance to the regional tournament on Saturday.
