CENTRE – Tyric Scales scored a game-high 24 points for Cedar Bluff, but it was Piedmont which came away with a 64-55 win on Monday.

Tay Holloway led the Bulldogs (18-8) with 17 points. Mookie Johnson and Anthony Angle had 10 points apiece for Piedmont.

Marcus Reese added 15 points for the Tigers (11-11).

Collinsville 76, Woodville 72 – In Collinsville on Monday, the Panthers squeaked past Woodville behind Robert Gray’s 22 points and eight rebounds.

Trey Jones added 19 points for the Panthers (12-10). Tyler Tidmore scored 15, and Sharrard Crawley added six points and eight boards.

Jacob Maynard led Woodville with 21 points.

Girls

Piedmont 45, Cedar Bluff 43 – In Centre on Monday, Raven Prater and Jeleca Johnson both netted 12 points to lead Piedmont past Cedar Bluff.

Mechelle Adams led the Lady Tigers (9-15) with eight points.

Piedmont improved to 16-9 with the win.

Collinsville 56, Woodville 36 – In Collinsville on Monday, Breanna Bowen scored 14 points and had nine rebounds to lead Collinsville past Woodville.

Christy Cox added 10 for Collinsville (11-8), while Taylor Nelson and Kristen Ford scored nine and eight, respectively.
