Josh Gogus picked up the win for the Panthers (14-13) in the first game. He gave up just three hits and fanned seven.
Tray Reed, Colby Helms and Jesse Chandler provided the offense. All three went 2 for 3. Reed had a home run. Helms and Chandler scored three runs and drove in two more. Brett Bowen added a hit and scored two runs. Clay Coker had a double and a run. Tanner Nelson had a hit and a RBI. C.J. Jones also had a hit and scored a run.
Tharptown rallied to push the series to Saturday with its 2-1 win in the second game. No other information was available as of this posting.
