Centre Rotary Club meets at noon on the second floor of First Southern State Bank on Main Street in Centre.

The Tiny Tykes Music Time, music and fun for little ones, will be held at the Cherokee County Public Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The Recipe Club meets to swap recipes at Cherokee County Public Library from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Cedar Bluff Civitan Club meets at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse Restaurant, 2290 Alabama Highway 68 East in Cedar Bluff.

The Cherokee County Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni association invites all alumni, fans and friends to the Annual Alumni Banquet scheduled for Monday, May 21, in the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room on the campus of Gadsden State Community College-Cherokee, 801A Cedar Bluff Road, Centre, Ala. beginning at 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Thomas Rayam who blocked the final field-goal attempt in the 17-16 Alabama win over Penn State in 1989 with only seconds left in the game. “Team Rayam Outreach” is an organization now helping underprivileged youth.
