The pilots, according to reports, were identified as Phil McClendon and his brother who were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Jay Machleit and Daniel Johnson, both of Centre, were also aboard the jet. They were treated at an area hospital for what were believed to be minor injuries.
According to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) official, the Hawker Beechcraft 400A was registered to N79TE LLC in Centre.
A fuel spill resulted from the crash, according to reports, but the four people on board were out of the plane by the time emergency crews arrived.
An FFA report should be released in approximately five days, reports said.
