Brannon Burt led Sand Rock (20-10) with 17 points. Justin Mackey added nine points. Justin Kyser scored eight points and Cody Beck finished seven.
Tyler Malone led Geraldine with 15 points.
Sand Rock hosts North Sand Mountain Friday in a Class 2A sub-regional game.
In girls action, Sand Rock lost to Geraldine 54-42 on Monday. Sand Rock (14-16) travels to Ider on Thursday. Ider defeated Section 77-60 in Class 2A, Area 15 action on Saturday.

Asbury 53, Collinsville 49
ALBERTVILLE – Guillheremo Assumpcao posted 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 5 Asbury to its third straight area title, a 53-49 victory over No. 9 Collinsville on Monday.
Asbury (20-6) will host Class 1A, Area 14 runner-up Paint Rock Valley on Friday in sub-regional action. Collinsville (16-11) travels to Area 14 winner Athens Bible, also on Friday.
Asbury jumped out to a 17-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 24-13 at the break against the Panthers. Collinsville shaved the Rams lead to 36-29 at the end of the third quarter, but couldn’t capture the lead down the stretch.
Trey Jones led the Panthers with 21 points. Robert Gray added 17 points and seven rebounds.
Colby Cowen netted 13 points and grabbed nine boards for Asbury. Caleb Thomas added 11 points and seven rebounds. Jamie Ferguson finished with six points and six boards.
Class 3A, Area 10
Piedmont 59, White Plains 58
WHITE PLAINS – Marquise Diamond scored a game-high 22 points, including 17 in the third quarter, to help Piedmont escape with a 59-58 victory at White Plains and earn the Class 3A, Area 10 crown.
Piedmont (21-10) hosts Altamont on Friday in sub-regional action, while White Plains travels to Leeds.
Christian Cantrell added 15 points for the Bulldogs.
Carlton Caver and John Raney led White Plains. Caver finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Raney ended with 13 points.
Piedmont trailed at the half 22-20, but a third-quarter surge propelled the Bulldogs out in front 44-32 heading into the fourth. The Wildcats connected on six 3-pointers in the fourth, but Piedmont held on for the win.
