MRS. ADELEENE OLIVER HARRIS

Mrs. Adeleene Oliver Harris, 88 of Collinsville passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at her residence. She worked at Cone’s Mills until closing of mill. She later worked at Highland School as Lunchroom Supervisor, where she retired. After being a cancer survivor three times, she made cancer caps. She received an award from Presiden Bush for her volunteer service through the Lookout Mountian Senior Services. She was active in her church all her life and served in many positions.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Black Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Beashers and Bro. Chris Connell officiating. Burial followed at Collinsville Cemetery. Collinsville Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Harris is survived by daughter, Carla Justice of Gadsden, two grandchildren, two great grand children, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Carl Harris; parents, Clyde and Macie Smith Oliver, brothers, Marvin lamar (Buck) Oliver, Ralph Oliver and Clyde Oliver, Jr.
