COLLINSVILLE – Brittney Tidmore was perfect on serve Tuesday, going 33 for 33 with 21 assists and nine aces to lead the Class 1A, No. 7 Collinsville Lady Panthers to a volleyball victory over visiting Fort Payne Tuesday. The scores were 20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-16 and 15-11.

Christy Cox added 11 kills, 10 assists and 10 digs for the Lady Panthers (10-4). Kiana Ford came away with nine kills and four blocks. She was also 16 of 19 on serve. Sydney Jones finished with seven digs and five aces.

Collinsville hosts Pisgah on Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Sand Rock sweeps Geraldine, Sylvania

SYLVANIA – Class 2A, No. 7 Sand Rock improved to 17-1 following wins over Geraldine (25-22, 25-14) and host Sylvania (25-15, 25-14) on Tuesday.

Amber Ashley led the charge by contributing 15 kills, 13 digs and three blocks. Madison Smith added 16 kills, five aces and three blocks. Kelsey Hayes had 15 digs, seven kills and three aces. Hannah Oliver came away with 15 digs and Ashley Norris finished with 39 assists.

Sand Rock hosts Area 13 rival Westbrook Christian on Thursday beginning at 4 p.m.
