In the Asbury match, Audrianna Hargitt led the Lady Tigers (11-11) with 13 kills and six digs. Hannah Leach added seven digs, three kills and two aces. Brooke Wood contributed 15 assists and a kill.
Paige Bryant came away with nine digs and two aces. Abby Storey posted four aces, two kills and an assist. Jasmine Adams had four digs, an ace and an assist. Marigrace Wilson had three kills and a dig. Raveen McElrath finished with three assists and a pair of digs.
In the loss to Piedmont, Hargitt had nine kills, 13 digs and an ace. Leach posted six kills, six digs, two aces and two assists. Storey came away with four kills, 12 digs and an ace. McElrath contributed 14 assists and two digs.
Bryant had 10 digs. Adams added three kills and two digs. Wood had three assists and Wilson finished with a kill and a dig.
Cedar Bluff plays in the Piedmont Tournament on Saturday.
Collinsville defeats Gaylesville
GAYLESVILLE - Kiana Ford came away with 19 kills and Christy Cox contributed 18 kills, 12 digs and five blocks to lead Class 1A, No. 5 Collinsville past Area 13 rival Gaylesville in volleyball action on Thursday. The scores were 24-26, 25-15, 25-22 and 25-14.
Brittany Tidmore added 27 assists and seven aces for the Lady Panthers (14-5, 2-0). Mary Katherine Patton finished with seven digs.
Collinsville travels to Coosa Christian for a tri-match with Weaver on Monday.
