MRS. JEANETTE CANTRELL

Mrs. Jeanette Cantrell, 72 of Beaverton, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mrs. Cantrell was born and raised in Centre. She attended both Cherokee County Elementary and High Schools. She married Ozell Cantrell, June 8, 1958 and moved to West Alabama. Mrs. Cantrell owned and operated Oasis Flower Shop until her retirement several years ago. She was known for her "special touch" she put into each floral arrangement. She was a member of the Beaverton Town Council and also a member of the Piney Grove FW Baptist Church.

Funeral services held Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Tate Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or contribution can be made to Tates Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 225 North River Street, Centre AL, 35906.

Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ozell Cantrell, sons: Nickey (Tina) Cantrell of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Tommy (Charlotte) Cantrell of Winfield, Alabama, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters: Jean (Piney) Reiger, Centre, Nina (Jimmy) Stokes, Lizella, Georgia and any loving nieces and nephews

Mrs. Cantrell was preceded in death by her parents, George & Edna Reed, brothers, Lamar Reed of Centre, and Ray Reed of Piedmont.
