Mr. Jean Paul Frantz, Sr., 70 of Centre passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Cherokee Medical Center. Mr. Frantz was a native of Meadville, Pa., Mr. Frantz was retired from the United States Army after twenty years of service.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with family and friends officiating. Burial will follow at Weiss Lake Memorial Garden with military honors. Survivors include: wife, Patricia Repman Frantz, Centre, sons, Jean Paul (Alecia) Frantz Jr., Sand Rock, Michael (Karla) Frantz, Schaumburg, Ill., brothers; Bill Frantz, N.C., David Frantz, Oswego N.Y.; sisters, Martha Sue Robinson, Rolling Meadows IL, Nancy Markwood, Saegertown Pa., Jeri Sample, Saegertown Pa., 11 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Frantz was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Frantz.
