MR. LARRY J. HANSON

Mr. Larry J. Hanson, 59 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Mr. Hanson was a native of Rome, Geo. He was an Administrative Technician with the Alabama National Guard, was a mason and of the Baptist Faith.

Graveside services will be 3 pm (CST) Friday, October 12, 2012 at Round Hill Cemetery in Cave Spring, with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 pm (CST) Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Centre Fire Dept. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Elaine F. Hanson; sons, Brian (Emily) Davis of Centre and Jonathan Davis of Centre; daughter, Jennifer (Todd) Tierce of Centre; brothers, Gene (Linda) Hanson of Newnan, Geo., Jerry Hanson of Cave Spring, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hanson was the son of the late Gordon and Cleo Smith Hanson.
