Two of Jennings’ scores came in the opening quarter. His first was on the Trojans’ (3-4, 3-3) first possession.
Jennings’ third touchdown came in the second quarter, and it put Gaylesville in front 21-0 at halftime.
Woodville (0-7, 0-6) scored on its opening possession of the third quarter for the final.
Junior running back Dylan Mitchell rushed for 32 yards on six carries. Junior quarterback Cole Murphy had two pass completions for 69 yards, with one of those going to senior receiver Malachii Dutton for 51 yards.
Dutton also led the Trojan defense with nine tackles and an interception. Jennings and freshman linebacker Logan Hurley also had nine tackles apiece. One of Jennings’ tackles went for a loss.
Senior defensive lineman Levi Teague tallied eight tackles, including one for lost yardage. Tristan Stalker also had an interception.
Gaylesville returns home to host Collinsville on Friday.
