Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the collinsville Funeral Home-Sharpe Chapel at 11 am with Rev. Danny flora and Rev. Jerry Darnell officiating. Burial will follow at Plunket Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5 - 8 pm.
Mr. Gipson is survied by his wife; Dorothy Nell Massey Gipson, son; Leon (Dot) Gipson, daughter; Regina (George) Burns, Patricia (Russell) Johnson, brother, Bobby (Wanda Lynn) Gipson,and sister, Catherine (Luther) Barkley, five grand children and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Gipson was the son of the late Orbie Lee and Ruth Gipson.
Mr. Gipson was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Arlen Gipson and Elvin Gipson.
