Mrs. Janet Armstrong Baswell, 59 of Centre, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at her residence.Mrs. Baswell was a native of Cherokee County, and was a member of Bonny Brook Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Pike and Marlon Greenwood officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Sam Baswell; daughters, Shannon (Mike) Mull of Gaylesville, Tonya (Chris) Shook of Gaylesville, Amanda (Michael) Mashburn of Dutton, Melissa (Bud) Stewart of Harlon, KY and Sandy Bedwell of Dutton; brother, J.L (Marsha) Armstrong of Leesburg; sister, Edna Steed of Centre; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

Mrs. Baswell was the daughter of the late Lewis Tig and Lucille Gossett Armstrong.
