Emily Langley led Sand Rock (0-1) with 10 points, three steals, an assist and a rebound. Courtney Rowe added nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Madison McCullough tallied eight points, six boards and a steal. Leslie Mackey also contributed eight points to go along with three rebounds.
Glencoe led throughout the game, but the Lady Wildcats kept things close. Sand Rock trailed 15-14 at the end of the first quarter and 29-25 at halftime. Glencoe held a 44-39 lead at the end of three quarters.
In the nightcap, Sand Rock’s boys lost to Glencoe 53-27.
Sand Rock travels to Sylvania on Tuesday.
