Mr. Frank L. Garmon, 83, of Centre, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at Cherokee Medical Center. Mr. Garmon was a native of Cherokee County. and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 19, 2012 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Pollard and Rev. Eugene Burgess officiating. Military graveside services followed in Cherokee Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Vacation Bible School Fund. Mr. Garmon is survived by his wife, Ellen Latta Garmon; sons, Steve Garmon, Centre, David (Tessie) Garmon, Grand Bay; daughter, Susan (Stanley) Money, Centre; brother, Joe (Ellen) Garmon, Gadsden, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Garmon was the son of the late John Russell and Jewel Harris Garmon.
