Mrs. Virginia Gail McGatha, 67 of Centre, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. McGatha was a native of Cherokee County and was of Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Coley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ellisville. Survivors include sons; Jeffery (Alexa Jill) Mcgatha of Kingston, Jason Mcgatha of Centre, daughters; Angie (Chris) Carden of Centre, Tammy Jo Young of Centre, Mother; Erma McGatha, brother; Troy McGatha of Dalton, sisters; Patsy Thompson of Centre, Peggy Wood of Centre, Doris Seay of Dalton, and Janice Little of Gadsden, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McGatha was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe McGatha, father, Orban C. McGatha and two grandchildren.
