Mr. Dowling Wood, 88 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Cherokee medical Center. Mr. Wood was a member of Union Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11 am at the Perry Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Roden, Bro. Wayne Day and Bro. Herman Edge officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 5 to 8 pm Friday evening, November 23, 2012.

Mr. wood is survived by sons; Don (Judy) Wood, Center, Woody Wood, Gadsden, two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.

Mr. wood was proceded in death by his wife Martha Jo Wood, parents, Grover and Thelma Wood, sister, Ellen Johnson and daughter-in-law, Peggy Wood.
