MRS. LOIS ANN NORTON SIMMONS

Mrs. Lois Ann Norton Simmons, 72, Cave Spring, and formerly of the Lock and Dam Community, passed away Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012, in a Rome hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Simmons was a native of Rome. She was a retired homemaker, and was a member of the Bush Arbor Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, December 6, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at John House’s Cave Spring Chapel with Rev. Dale Byars officiating. Interment will follow in the Bush Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, December 5, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to the Heyman Hospice, 420 East Second Avenue, Rome, Georgia 30124. John House’s Cave Spring Chapel directing.

Mrs. Simmons was the daughter of the late Jesse Roscoe Norton and the late Marion Smith Norton.
