Mrs. Virginia Hurley Bankson, 92 of Monroe, Georgia, formerly of Cedar Bluff passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Mrs. Bankston was born at Round Mountain, Alabama. Mrs. Bankston was a graduate of Cedar Bluff High School where she was Valedictorian of her senior class. After retirement, she and her husband moved to Lake Weiss.

Mrs. Bankson is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dr. Henry Wall), two grandchildren, and cousins and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Killian on Tuesday, December 18 at 1 p.m. (Central time) at the Daniel Cemetery, Cedar Bluff, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Daniel Cemetery Fund , P.O. Box 31, Cedar Bluff, Alabama. 35959.
