REV. GLENN WHEELER

Rev. Glenn Wheeler, 71, of Cave Spring, passed away Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012, in a Rome hospital following an extended illness. Rev. Wheeler was born in Rome. He was a member of the Mackey Lodge # 120 F. & A. M., and a member of the Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Cedartown. Rev. Wheeler was a former Forest Ranger with the Georgia Department of Forestry, having retired in 2002 with 25 years of service.

Funeral services for Rev. Wheeler were held Monday, December 17, 2012, at 11:00 am at John House’s Cave Spring Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker and Rev. Earl Partain, Sr., officiating. Interment followed in the Cave Spring Cemetery.

Rev. Wheeler is survived by his children, Jeff Wheeler and his wife Elizabeth Ann of Cave Spring; Ms. Janis Wheeler Rone of Hiram; and Bradley Wheeler and his wife Tina of Cave Spring; seven grandchildren, brothers, Bobby Wheeler and his wife Carolyn, Jack Wheeler and his wife Glenda, and Franklin Wheeler, all of Cave Spring.

Rev. Wheeler was the son of the late O. N. Wheeler and the late Sarah Beavers Wheeler.

Rev. Wheeler was preceeded in death by his wife Barbara Galloway Wheeler.
