Hunt allegedly struck his wife in the face, and she fled to their residence and locked the doors to keep out the offender, Shaver said.
Deputies arrived on the scene, Shaver said, to find the suspect had driven his vehicle through the garage door to gain entry to the residence. Hunt was taken into custody and charged with third degree domestic violence.
