Mrs. Sherry Diane Crider, 59 of the McCords Crossroads Community, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome. Mrs. Crider was a native of Rome, and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service will be 3 pm Friday, January 4, 2013 at New Nazareth Baptist Church with Rev. Gary McCurdy officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Thursday. Mrs. Crider will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include her husband, Randal Crider; sons, Heath Crider of Cedar Bluff and Preston Crider of Mccords; daughter, Stacey Crider Rogers of Spring Garden; parents, Dewel and Mary Jo Dempsey of Cave Spring, and five grandchildren.
