Mrs. Agnes Trammell, 85 of Piedmont passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Trammell was a native of Calhoun County, and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She loved flowers and woodworking.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny English and Rev. Leroy Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 pm Friday. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include son, Kyle Brent Trammell of Piedmont; daughter, Donna Jo Trammell of Piedmont; daughter-in-law, Rena Trammell; brother, Kenneth Dempsey of the Roy Webb Community; sisters, Doris Adair of Weaver and Helen Smith of Roy Webb, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Trammell, brothers; Bernon Dempsey, Horace Dempsey and Henry Dempsey; sisters, Vivian Warmack, Beulah Lockett, Nettie McFall and Lucille Deberry.

Mrs. Trammell was the daughter of the late Thomas Milton and Evie Teresa Holder Dempsey.
